West Bank Refugees are Under Attack:
You can help them resist displacement
“I am a displaced from Tulkarem Camp to East Dhinnaba”
“I have 4 children and we are living in a construction site, without doors, windows, flooring or running water.”
“My children have to walk 30 min to reach the main road to catch the school bus.”
About us
Wa’ad is a grassroots, community-led 501 (c)(3) organization, providing long-term, sustainable support to communities on the frontlines of Israeli aggression in the Northern West Bank, Palestine.
In the US, WCF provides educational programs to raise awareness about the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Our goal is to resource pre-existing women-led community networks and support Palestinian independence and sovereignty.
The Wa'ad Approach
The Wa'ad Approach
Families are identified through local partners
Families receive monthly grocery credits with local shops
Families shop like anyone else in their community
The local economy is strengthened
Solidarity increases between displaced families and host communities.
“Most aid efforts rely on standard food parcels, and while these are appreciated, it’s estimated that around 30% of their contents go to waste. Cash-based grocery credits avoid this problem entirely by putting decision-making back in families' hands.”
— Tahani, Wa’ad’s Jenin Camp Partner
